Formerly used as an effective painkiller, we associate the scent of clove mostly with toothache. It is utilized in aromas for wines, cordials, love potions, dental products, etc. This is a highly volatile ingredient, high in antimicrobial components and terpenes. All well proven carp attractors and especially very effective in cold water conditions during winter time. It has a hot, savoury aroma. Very good to use together with MSG to maximize the savoury aspect. It also combines well with cinnamon and talin. This liquid is very similar to an oleoresin, with the exception that this liquid is water-soluble.
Product character: Deep dark brown easy flowing liquid, appr 75% water-soluble with some residu left, water solution turns brown, strong characteristic flavor of clove, contains no water – pva friendly.
Recommended dosage per kg dry mix: Use at around 0.5 – 1 ml, depending on other ingredients used.
